Theres
a Mayne is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and is the founder and owner of Contract HRM Limited, an experienced HR consultant specialising in UK employment law and line manager capability. With a career spanning senior HR roles and consultancy across multiple industries.
Theresa is widely trusted for her sound judgement, depth of specialist knowledge and calm, pragmatic approach. She is known for cutting through complexity and providing advice that is legally robust, commercially realistic and genuinely workable.
Theresa works closely with clients on sensitive and high-risk people issues, acting as a trusted adviser at critical moments. Her work is underpinned by a strong belief that many employment problems can be prevented through early, informed advice and better-equipped line managers, a philosophy reflected in both HR Helpline and Line Manager Academy.
Alongside her consultancy work, Theresa writes and speaks on employment law, leadership and ethical people management, often from a line manager’s perspective. She is also a CIPD Level 7 tutor in HR Business Management and Learning and Development.
